Built for the question, not the movement.
CarbonCut is Australian software with one job: when someone puts an emissions question in front of a business that never planned to have a sustainability department, that business gets to answer credibly, without a consulting engagement, an enterprise platform, or a guess.
Why this exists
Australian SMBs are being asked for emissions data from every direction at once: supermarket supplier programs, government tenders, customer scorecards, boards reading about mandatory disclosure. Almost none of those businesses are legally required to report. All of them are commercially required to answer.
The tools available were built for someone else: enterprise platforms priced for compliance teams, or consultants who rebuild the same spreadsheet every year and keep the working. In between sits a business with 40 staff, a fuel-card account, a power bill, and a deadline.
That's who this is for.
The principles we can be checked against
Show the working
Every number traces to a source document and a published factor, and the report prints both. If a claim can't point at its evidence, it doesn't ship.
Never guess a factor
Factors come from the DCCEEW National Greenhouse Accounts, versioned and verified against the official workbook. Where none is published, the product says so rather than inventing one, even when a guess would look better.
Publish the price
The full ladder is on the pricing page. A buyer shouldn't need a discovery call to learn a number.
Quiet software
Reminders send only when data is genuinely missing. No engagement theatre, no newsletter you didn't ask for. The product earns its renewal by being useful, not loud.
Honest edges
What the report covers, it states; what it doesn't, it names. Two years that aren't comparable are labelled, not blended.
No badge business
We don't sell offsets or certifications, so we have no incentive to make your number look better than it is. The measured number is the product.
